Rebuilding Together Kent County offers critical home repairs and services to preserve affordable housing - all at no cost to our income-eligible neighbors! We work to help seniors, veterans, those living with disabilities, and families remain in homes that are safe, warm and dry.
If you would like to apply, please click on the button below and fill out the application. Our committee selects projects based on funding availability so an application does not guarantee service. To be eligible for our services you must live in Kent County, MD, own your home, and meet the federal income requirements for our area, as determined by chart below. Rebuilding Together is participating in a pilot program, funded by Wells Fargo, to assist our neighbors with clearing tangled titles. Homeownership is a criteria for eligibility for our services. There are times when we are unable to help because, for one or more generation, the legal paperwork has not been managed after the passing of a loved one. If you live in your home and no one is contesting your right to be there, please contact us to see if you are a good fit for this new program.

Social Services
Whether you need help navigating applications for medical assistance, applying for SNAP benefits or exploring other support services, the Kent County Department of Social Services is a great resource for local residents who need assistance.
Rural Development Corp.
The Maryland Rural Development Corporation (MRDC) is a private non-profit organization that has been providing services in response to the needs of rural communities since 1979. MRDC’s activities benefit low-income communities and individuals.
Agency on Aging
Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) are local aging programs that provide information and services on a range of assistance for older adults and those who care for them. They have mobility assistance programs, as well as training and counseling services.
