Genevieve Croker | Executive Director

Genevieve Croker comes to Rebuilding Together with a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Management and nearly 20 years experience, domestically and internationally, with the nuts and bolts of helping organizations to thrive.

While her career started with administering scholarship programs, she has always gravitated toward positions that allow her to interact closely with the people she serves.

After six+ years as Director of Operations and Development for a small nonprofit in rural Guatemala that built classrooms and homes out of waste materials, she returned to the U.S. and fell in love with the Eastern Shore. Rebuilding Together allows her to combine her passion for helping people and developing efficient procedures into programs that make a tangible difference in her community.

Caryl Townsend | Admin Assistant

Caryl is a student at Washington College majoring in Sociology and minoring in Creative Writing. Residing in Caroline County since he was 13, he developed an interest in rural sociology. He plans to do more research work in the future.

Growing up on the Eastern Shore, he has always had a love and respect for the shore and its inhabitants. Originally working as an intern for Rebuilding Together in spring of 2023, when they offered him a part-time position, he enthusiastically made the switch to Administrative Assistant.

Caryl is very excited to contribute his own background and knowledge of the sociology field to Rebuilding Together Kent County and to help provide his neighbors with safe and healthy homes. In addition to his regular duties, Caryl is taking the lead on a county-wide housing survey being developed with Washington College.
